Sometimes a pause can simply be a pause.
Quiet rituals begin with an optional cup of tea or water and a few words of welcome. A journal prompt is offered, then the room is yours to sit, write or read quietly.
This is a hosted moment of stillness, rather than a class to complete. There is no expected practice, no sharing circle you have to join and no requirement to close your eyes.
Bring a notebook if you enjoy writing. A blank page and a pencil are also available as part of the session. Leaving the page blank is a perfectly good option.

Try the prompt: “What would I like a little more room for?” Keep the answer private or leave it unfinished.
The warmth of your cup. Light across the room. A sound from outside. There is no need to make it meaningful.
Choose a chair or a cushion and let yourself be without a task. You can change your mind at any point.
The 30-minute gathering includes a welcome, open quiet time and an easy finish. Tea is optional; water is always a simple alternative.
If you have a drink ingredient preference, mention it before a session rather than relying on the illustrative photography.
