The early cup
From 7am weekdays or 8am weekends. Coffee, tea and toast for a small start before the day gets busy.
A good breakfast deserves more than a spare five minutes. Start with coffee. See where the morning takes you.

The breakfast table
The best mornings have a little room in them.
Ricotta piled onto toast, tomatoes dressed with olive oil, eggs folded softly and a generous handful of herbs. The breakfast menu gives familiar things a little extra attention.
For a lighter start, choose the house granola with pear and yoghurt. For something savoury without eggs or dairy, mushrooms, white bean purée and greens make a proper plate.
Breakfast runs from opening until the sample kitchen close at 2.30pm. Lunch joins the menu at 11am, so a table of early risers and late starters can still eat together.

On the plate
Cool whipped ricotta, sweet tomatoes, basil and toasted seeds. A little olive oil soaks into the warm sourdough beneath.
It is a simple plate with a few different textures: creamy, crisp and juicy. Add a coffee and leave the rest of the morning open.
Preparation and cross-contact would need checking at a real venue.

Breakfast continues until 2.30pm. From 11am, sandwiches, soup and the market bowl give the table even more choice.

Prefer a short espresso to a milky coffee? Taking it slowly with a pot of tea? The drinks menu covers both, with clear sample prices and milk choices.
